NoPests® Codling Moth Pheromone Trap
Description
The Codling Moth Trap has a triangular (delta) cross section and is made of strong, rigid, folded corrugated plastic. The insects are attracted by the manufactured pheromone lure for Cydia pomonella, enter the trap and are caught on the non-drying glue inside the trap. The glue insert can later be removed for inspection and replacement.
A biological non-pesticide product to protect 3 - 5 trees in a 15 metre radius using a synthetic pheromone to lure male codling moths. Place your traps out in September / October before the moths start flying. The pheromone attracts the male moth thus disrupting breeding and reducing the infestation. Use your second lure to complete the season and remove your traps by March for use next season. Codling moth traps are packed with a set of instructions, one green easy-set delta trap with hanger, two monitoring lures and two sticky glue inserts. Refills available consisting of boards and lures.
